Earlier this year, we set a goal to incorporate more video content into our communications strategies. To kick off the effort, we launched our new YouTube channel earlier this year. It provides our audience with new, fun and informative multimedia content to address both the challenges and opportunities currently facing the foodservice packaging industry.
Since the launch, we’ve released three educational videos: Our Take on Take Out Packaging, Tossing Your Take-Out Packaging, and What's Wrong with Reusables. The results of these videos have been something we're really proud of. Not only have we seen a steady growth in subscribers and their engagement, we’ve also received extremely positive feedback from our members.
An interesting tidbit we've learned from this initiative is that when people are given "snackable," engaging content, they learn more about foodservice packaging and re-visit the resource more frequently. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!
Now that we've released the last video in our 2016 series, we’ll begin to leverage this dynamic trio of assets across various online platforms to spread the word about foodservice packaging and its many benefits. We hope to encourage more conversation on the topic of single-use foodservice packaging.
It's our goal in 2017 and beyond to continue producing educational shorts to positively contribute to the global conversation on single-use packaging in a way that’s both meaningful and memorable to our audience.
