(June 3, 2009 -- Falls Church, Va.)  The Foodservice Packaging Institute (FPI), the leading authority on foodservice packaging, has released its 2009 “State of the Industry Report.”

The report, which is more than 200 pages, seeks to provide a snapshot of the foodservice packaging industry and contains eight sections:

Ø  Facts and Trends from 2008;

Ø  U.S. Domestic Statistics;

Ø  U.S. Exports; and

Ø  U.S. Imports.

The report is available only to FPI members, but an overview of it may be found on FPI’s Web site, www.fpi.org, in the Foodservice Packaging Library.
